Charlie Bruder | Mycologist

My name is Charlie Bruder. I am a mycologist, permaculture  designer, and farmer. I have decided to spend my life learning about fungi in order to connect with these organisms which we know so little about. I am passionate about mushroom cultivation, fungal education, foraging, indigenous knowledge and mycoremediation. I currently work for the biodeterioration lab at Oregon State University where I help manage one of the largest culture libraries of native fungi in the Pacific Northwest. I am currently interested in the artificial selection of fungi, and the cultural implications of domesticating micro-organisms
